Connect International seeks for two Senior Java Developers/Solutions Architects, with solid Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Java programming skills, and good Oracle database background to modernize and enhance an existing Data Access and Dissemination System (DADS). The position also requires strong communication skills to interface with our government clients in Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.
The position will participate with the team assembled to work on the DADS replacement project in Linux/Blade environment. The work will include participating in the development of requirements for the replacement system, the design of the replacement system and its program components, the coding and testing of the program components and the documentation of all aspects of this project. It requires experience and advanced skills as follows:
Data Access and Dissemination methodology and metadata modeling.
Familiar with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept and modeling in Object-Oriented design (OOD) using UML design that includes Class diagram, Communication diagram, Flow diagram, and Activity diagram in SOA architecture.
Good skills in Object-Oriented programming using Java, JSP, EJB3, AJAX, JSF, Servlets, Web Services, Components, Spring, Seams, Hibernates, and Struts.
Data Exchange process using XML/SOAP, JAXB, POJO, JAXP, and HTTPS.

Connect International is seeking one or two Senior Computer Programmers, with solid mathematical skills and a strong programming background.to modernize an existing cell suppression program, which is utilized for production work. The position requires strong mathematical, communication, technical, and leadership skills. It is our goal to provide key supports to our government clients in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
Specifically, we are looking for programmers who are proficient in C++ and have worked on designing and writing large scientific programs.Our ideal candidate has a strong mathematical background, and is familiar with mathematical concepts such as linear algebra and graph theory. Experience with programs that involve a large number of data structures (such as arrays) and with passing the data contained therein among the modules of the program, is essential. Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and Fortran is a plus.
In addition, knowledge of linear programming is required. Experience implementing linear programming models that have been used for a business or scientific project (i.e., not just as a teaching tool) is desirable. Such experience will typically involve use of one of the major mathematical programming software packages such as CPLEX or XPRESS.

To lead enterprise systems in WebLogic/J2EE/Java application design, development, integration, documentation, configuration, middleware installation, and maintenance within a System Development Life Cycle in Linux O/S to:
Install, configure, and administrate the BEA (now Oracle) WebLogic and Portals. Experience on WebLogic 11g is required and prior version with BEA (10, 9) is preferred.
